Description
The original Kalamata PDO olives are produced in the area of Messinia. They have an almond shape with a hooked nose and a shiny and durable pericarp. Their color is aubergine with a delicate and fruity aroma. The olives are harvested by hand while they are riped and stored in salt water where they become bitter through natural fermentation, without additives.
