Description
Whole Aegean grouper. A fish of high commercial value, is found in the E. Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea. It lives in holes and caves on rocky and sandy bottoms. The grouper feeds mainly on fish, cephalopods and crustaceans. In Greece it is caught mainly in the S. Aegean and the central Ionian Sea. It is an ideal fish for the daily table.
