A Taste of Tradition: Exploring authentic Cretan cured meats

From November 8–10, 2024, TROFELIA Promoting Food organized a gastronomic trip to Crete to mark the presentation of the newly renovated facilities of its supplier, Kassakis Cured Meats.TROFELIA team, along with chefs, clients, and partners, visited to discover Kassakis’ exceptional products, taste unique flavors, try special recipes, tour the exhibition and production spaces, and enjoy the warm Cretan hospitality. The company’s leadership and guests toured the revamped Kassakis premises in Galatas Pediados, Crete, which now reflects the boutique charcuterie philosophy of the brand. The production area was expanded, and new functional spaces were added to support operational growth.At the beloved “Avli” venue, they took part in culinary sessions, discussions, and tastings of local delicacies from Crete’s rich gastronomic heritage.Since its founding, TROFELIA Promoting Food has not only operated as a reliable partner for its suppliers but also as their ambassador—actively promoting Greek products and producers through its communications channels and network to boost entrepreneurship and elevate Greek gastronomy.
